Classic Package (10 Hours, 2 Photographers)

Getting engaged is a really exciting moment in a couples life together, and a beautiful engagement shoot is such a lovely way to celebrate that. Engagement sessions are a low-pressure way to get comfortable in front of the camera, get some great photos to show off to your friends, add to save-the-dates and display at your wedding. These sessions are also a nice way to get to know each other better if we decide to work together on your wedding day. Before your engagement session we will hop on a call to discuss the vision, location, wardrobe and any other important elements to the session and beyond. The shoot itself will be about an hour and will give plenty of time for great photos, which will be made so easy through posing and direction cues, while still leaving room for us to have fun and get candid. You'll receive your full gallery within 2 weeks of the shoot date, at which point we can discuss next steps of working together, which will allow you to apply 100% of your engagement session fee towards your wedding package (excluding the 4-hour debut package)

Engagement Session

The Grand package is the ultimate experience, offering 12 hours of coverage to capture every beautiful moment of your day. You’ll receive 40 preview images delivered within 24 hours, plus access to your full online gallery in both color and black &amp; white. This package includes an engagement session, a second photographer for added coverage, and 3 high-quality photo prints (up to 8x12) to display your favorite moments. As a special bonus, enjoy a one-year anniversary photoshoot to relive your love and create new memories. I love couples that are willing to have fun and try interesting things. Within the first 10 minutes of my session with Shannon &amp; Fred, I knew it was going to be a fun evening. Shannon &amp; Fred are getting married in December, so late spring was really great timing for an engagement shoot. It meant that we could have a totally different vibe from their wedding photos, and we definitely had a vibe going here.

The inspiration: Waterloo Date Night
We met at Waterloo Park and snapped a few photos to get the jitters out. After we got the &ldquo;Grandma Shots&rdquo;, basically the photos that Grandma would like to see (I am pretty sure I lifted this term from Liam Good, but I can&rsquo;t remember), we dove into some more creative ideas. I had an idea a little while back for a particular area in the park, which I test-shot with my lovely partner, and I took Shannon &amp; Fred there to see what we could create.

We kept moving through the park, dodging a few cyclists and strollers as we took over the bridge and then tried out some more interesting shots near the water. The sun was still pretty high so we had to just lean in and play with some of the harsh shadows and vibrant colours, and I&rsquo;m so glad we did.

After the park we strolled down to <a href="https://www.instagram.com/Bodega.Rose/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Bodega Rose</a> for cocktails. If you haven&rsquo;t been to Bodgea Rose yet, run, don&rsquo;t walk. It&rsquo;s such a great little uptown spot with super good food, cocktails and vibes. Also Ice Cream, so like&hellip; go for it!
We snapped a whole ton of photos here at Bodega Rose and took some time to just chat and get to know each other better. This is one of the best parts of engagement sessions. Shannon &amp; Fred are such interesting, kind and fun people and having the chance to just sit down and connect before the wedding is SO important. After Bodega we were pretty much legally obligated to take photos at the Orange Wall and finished off the night in Waterloo Square. I might be biased, but it seemed like a pretty good date.
